Our Workshops
Safe With Me Kids CPR and First Aid offers personalised and comprehensive educational workshops that will equip you with the knowledge and skills to confidently and effectively perform CPR and give emergency first aid to any child in your care.
Workshops are conducted at a relaxed pace in your own home and at a time
that suits you.
SWM workshops are practical and hands-on and cover an extensive range of childhood medical emergencies including (but not limited to)
* choking
* immersion and near drowning
* burns and scalds
* anaphylaxis
* febrile convulsions
* head injuries
* poisoning.
You will also learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of an unwell and
medically deteriorating child.
CPR will be learnt using state-of-the-art mannekins with digital feedback, enabling
you to visualise your technique and efficacy in real time.
Education and training will be provided in a professional and supportive manner by
the workshop facilitator who is an experienced paediatric intensive care nurse,
accredited in Advanced Paediatric Life Support Provision and Training, and also a parent and grandparent.
PLEASE NOTE:
CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION IS TAUGHT IN ADHERENCE TO THE AUSTRALIAN RESUSCITATION COUNCIL GUIDELINES.
OTHER SOURCES OF INFORMATION INCLUDE NSW POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE, ASCIA, THE ASTHMA FOUNDATION
THIS IS NOT AN ACCREDITED TRAINING COURSE.
HOWEVER, A CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE WILL BE PROVIDED.

(one price only whether there are 1 or 2 participants)​

9am - 12 pm and 1pm- 4pm

(Saturday workshops are $320)

SMALL GROUP WORKSHOPS OF MIN 3 - MAX 6 PARTICIPANTS AVAILABLE BY ARRANGEMENT AT A COST OF $130 pp (expected workshop run time of 3-4 hrs)
